How do you deal with an ex who has been physically and verbally abusive.?

She is coming here to collect her things and recently she has verbally abused me, hit me and pushed me, causing valuable things to be broken and she suffers from fits of rage. I have been informed that in the past she has lied and libeled me. I need to be here to let her in my building. How should I protect myself! How do you deal with an ex who has been physically and verbally abusive.?
Just call the police and ask for a cop to be present during the item transferrence. How do you deal with an ex who has been physically and verbally abusive.?
Hide the valuable %26amp; breakable things at a friends house.

Have some friends there with you when she arrives.

Have her stuff packed up in a pile near the door.

Don't deal with her. Just let her in, so ';Oh hi, here's your stuff.'; and then dash back to watching the game or whatever with your. Act like you hardly notice her and couldn't care less. Let her take her **** and go. When she starts ragging on you brush her off the best you can.
If I were you I would have the police at your home when she is there to finish getting her things.

This way you are protected if she becomes violent and they will arrest her if she attacks you and starts to destroy things.

You may have to get an order of protection against her through the court house because you do not want her turning things around on you to cause any further problem by trying to get you locked up.

She needs to move on with herself and get professional help if she is this overwhelmed with her own issues in ending the relationship.

Never ever be alone when you are dealing with her at this time.

.
I would make sure at the very least that you have a friend or family member with you the whole time she's there. The best case scenario to me is to pack her **** and leave it on the sidewalk enough already with the crazy people being hateful.
Have someone else with you. She is far less likely to start any **** if there is someone else around. Verbal abuse is usually a display of pent up emotions that she cannot express in any other form. If she gets too out of control, take a bucket of ice water and douse her in the face.
Have a police officer with you. That way if she starts any trouble, the cop will be a witness to the other cops. Then it will be her word against the police department's word. You know she will be automatically overruled. Good luck with everything.
If its in your house, you can record anything. You can also get a restraining order on her if you ever feel she is not going to leave you alone. Definitely have someone you trust with you, and put her stuff outside....
have a police officer present!!!

She will more than likely get violent!
Have all of her stuff outside and waiting for her. Have someone with you.
get a restraining order or kick her ***
